Last Joyous Occasion ....

.......of 2009 was meeting up my dear friend Tiffany (Miller) Dinneen and her hubby Dan for coffee! I hadn't seen Tiff in a LONG time.....so long I don't even think I can remember, how sad. But I love her dearly and it doesn't take long to catch up with this little firecracker!! Love you Tiff .... one of these days I will come and visit you in DC.

Christmas Night with Starr Gang

We had a wonderful Christmas Night with the Starr Gang! Complete with Christmas dinner and gift opening. My mom had sent up this Christmas centerpiece for Justin's mom ~isn't it just lovely!

Every Christmas Eve we celebrate with the Norris Crew ( and would you believe this is only about half of us?) We're actually missing 12 family members in this shot... it was the smallest Christmas Eve we've ever had.

Following my last day at Seville was the Annual Seville Holiday Party. My co-workers surprised me by presenting this Framed Seville Flag and the plaque read....

I was brought to tears... as if all of a sudden I realized "wow this is really the end"....

My best Seville buddy Renata was brought to tears too.... We have worked at Seville together longer than anyone else.... I will miss you too my dear friend. But don't you worry you'll still be seeing a lot of me in this wedding world!

All Good Things Must Come to an End.....

Well.....after 5 and half years at Seville Golf and Country Club, I decided it was time to resign my position as Private Events Director.

So many wonderful things have happened to me while working at Seville.... my first "real" job out of college, meeting several awesome people, helped in the creation of over 300 weddings, received 5 promotions and most importantly ...my Wedding Day!

So many people have asked me why? why, you love your job?? you love the wedding industry? you love the brides? you love event planning? you love Seville?? While all of that is very true, I just truly felt in my heart it was time to move on from my "Seville Home" and challenge myself in new ways in the Wedding Industry ( more on that later;)

So thank you so very much to everyone who has been apart of my Seville Family past and present, I treasure the friendships we have made and appreciate all you've done for my life, professionally and personally, please keep in touch!

P.S. I will also miss my amazing office ~ with just the most unbelievable view of the Golf Course and San Tan Mountains....

Really I could have lived in my office..... oh wait I think I did :) !! Goodbye Seville, it was a great run!

Does it ever get any cuter than this??? I mean really?? I highly doubt it!!! So the other day I'm running around the house trying to do a million things at once and I turn the corner to find my little pup ~ just hanging out in the dryer... she's such a curious and rather odd lil dog....

Next thing I know her big sis is investigating the situation... to see what's going on.

It's totally sick how much I love these little creatures.... sick!!

98 South with the Roomies

Holiday Dinner with my former roommates: Andrea and Melissa at one of my favorite historic downtown Chandler hot spots ~ 98 South Wine Bar!! I love how downtown Chandler is all lit up for the holidays and 98 South is right next to the famous Chandler Tumbleweed Christmas Tree. We started this Holiday Dinner tradition years ago and I'm so glad we've kept it up! (Special thank you to Melissa for always coordinating this for us every year) As much as I'm in love with Andrea and Melissa I do have to say that I did miss their little men ~Gregory and Liam.....oh and Noah and Tommy too!!

Christmas Decorating at the Starr Home....

I love Christmas.... who doesn't... but I especially love decorating for Christmas, although our condo isn't very large I don't let that stop me from going all out. Each room has a theme....(3 Christmas Trees Total) We try to make an entire night out of decorating complete with Christmas music, Christmas snacks, Eggnog and Brandy, Hot Coco and Baileys, just tons of fun.

My absolute favorite Christmas movie is Ron Howards: The Grinch Who Stole Christmas!! Some people prefer the original but not me, I love love love the "newer version"!!! It's always my first request to watch to kick off the Holiday Season!! I'm so captivated by the set design and costumes and I love all the behind the scenes footage too ~ such amazing artists were involved!

I know deep down inside Justin thinks I go a little crazy about decorating for Christmas but after seven Christmas' together now he just goes with it.....and keeps the drinks flowing... we have tons of fun, and I LOVE the next morning when we wake up and the entire home is transformed into Christmas ~ can't wait to have little ones to enjoy this with one day!

Break out those endless boxes......Let the decorating begin!!
