"There's no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard... No song I could sing... But I can try for your heart...Our dreams, and they are made out of real things... Like a, shoebox of photographs... With sepiatone loving... Love is the answer, At least for most of the questions in my heart... Like why are we here? And where do we go? And how come it's so hard? It's not always easy and... Sometimes life can be deceiving... I'll tell you one thing its always better when we're together..."

Chase's Prom Dinner at Seville

My little brother is almost a high school graduate! I can hardly believe it....it seems like only a few years ago he was following me around bugging me and asking a million questions... now it feels like the other way around.

Chase went to Prom a couple weekends ago and decided to have his "pre" prom dinner at Seville! I was so excited to have someone I love as a client.

Mom went all out with flowers .......

....and me and my Seville crew decorated the room with fancy linens and all over candle light.

Chase and his crew recieved the VIP treatment... because only the best will do for Stinkerbell..

Easter 2009 "Norris Style"

Easter has always been somewhat of an interesting holiday in our family. For as long as I can remember this holiday has always involved outdoor games, teams, winners, losers, cheaters... Grandpa losing track of points, and the infamous Egg Toss.

This Easter we celebrated at Patty and Craig's home "out in the county" in Casa Grande. They own a really great home with tons of land, horses, hay stacks, with some great views of the mountains.
Every year Grandpa and Grandpa split us up on teams to compete in a variety of competitions to name a few:

Bowling
Pitch the Penny
Trivia
Toilet Paper Race ( this was newly added this year and might I say tons of fun)
Egg Toss

Every year we compete for some awesome prizes ( not really...usually it's a candy bar) This particular year Patty and Craig's neighbors had a bunch of adorable puppies that needed homes. As much as I wanted to take this little girl home with me ... Justin talked me out it-deciding our condo is too small for a big dog and a wiener dog. Isn't she precious???

The funny thing is .... nobody ever really pays attention, and most of time doesn't even know who's team their on and who they should be cheering for.

Grandma Jane loves to help Grandpa referee. She's always there to tell the boys "not to be so rough!"
Tommy takes the bowling competition very seriously as he does play weekly with his bowling league- you'd think he' d be a better bowler.
After the games, lunch, and Great Grandmas famous homemade cookies... Grandpa is exhausted.... another fun Norris Easter!!!

Our 3 Year Wedding Anniversary.....

Wow... I can't believe it's already been 3 years.... since we tied the knot. As a wise women told me "time flys when you're having fun".

Life is busy and crazy... we had to put eveything on hold to celebrate our anniversary. We celebrated this year by going to a nice dinner in Tempe at a restuarant called "House of Tricks". It was so fun to go on a date in Tempe because that's were it all started.....

I had asked the Chef to prepare something special for Justin.... so at the end of our meal he brought out a Tiramisu Dessert (Justin's favorite)

Happy Anniversary My Love!

Ohio Trip with the Starr Family......

I'm very lucky to be a part of the Starr family.....I have an amazing mother-in-law and two loving brother-in-laws... although we don't get to see them nearly as much as we would like too... the time we do get to spend with them is always fun. In Mid-March we had the opportunity to vist Justin's extended family in Ohio. I was so excited to be able to experience "Ohio" as this is the place Justin was born and spent the majority of his childhood.
Although we didn't actually visit "Findlay, Ohio" we were pretty close..... we stayed in a small town called Westerville...just outside of Columbus. We stayed with Justin's Aunt Shelia and Uncle Bill.

Highlights from the trip included..............

The boys going to the Rotary Luncheon with their Uncle.....

All of us visiting and touring the Capital Building in downtown Columbus......

The boys touring the Ohio State Stadium........

Driving out to Plainsville... and eating at an Amish Restuarant.....
Walking down the historic district of Westerville........

But the best part was being able to spend time with Justin's 92 year old Grandma Conley... she is truly inspiring......

"SweetPeas Floral and Events" is born!

Yesterday I had such a fun time spending the morning and afternoon with my mom. We attended the Southwest Flower and Garden Show at the Unversity of Phoenix Stadium. We spent the day looking through all of the exhibits and brainstorming ideas for our upcoming Floral and Event Business. Our orginal name for our company was "Bella Graces" over the past year during our developmental stages neither of us were 100 % "in love" with that name. So after pondering, searching, .... and little bit of sugar and coffee .....our new name was born: SweetPeas Floral and Events.

SweetPeas has a very special meaning to me. Ever since I was a little girl my mother grew the most amazing Sweet Peas in our yard! They are such a simple flower but have the most amazing scent that reminds me of my childhood. We always had SweetPeas in our home in vases and we always gave away bouqets of SweetPeas to every guest that left our home.

Now that we have our official name-we're ready to begin our journey! More to Come!!!

Melissa's Recipe Party

I'm so bummed I didn't snap any photos of this night- it was such a fun time! My friend Melissa decided that she was tired of cooking the same o stuff for dinner and threw a party to gather some inspiration. Now this idea works great for people who cook ....but for me it was just an excuse to attend a party. Any ways it was a blast to spend time with friends and enjoy an awesome dinner!!! (It's too bad Aimee wasn't in town... she would have loved this party!)
Some of the recipes we sampled were:
- Buffalo Chicken Dip
-Clams Triestina
-Grilled Corn, Quinoa Spinach Salad
Edamame and Noodle Stir-Fry
-Chicken and Wild Mushroom & Balsamic Cream Sauce
-and many more!
Thank you Melissa- will you be my wife?
